Feel confused about the "Klamath settlement?" You're not alone! The following headlines reveal different perspectives on the Klamath Restoration Agreement (KRA). The most important thing to remember is that PacifiCorp still refuses to remove their dams, despite hard fought agreement on dam removal by the 26 diverse interests participating in the settlement process, including upper basin irrigators. PacifiCorp is party to a separate but related hydropower settlement process still underway. The much publicized KRA is contingent upon PacifiCorp agreeing to dam removal in its companian settlement negotiations.
